For All My Children

Just got done with our video call an hour ago and I still have a big smile on my face.

We spent the first part of it with you drawing and narrating how you were drawing your werewolf. You have a grid system for the face and I was just in awe of you. I wish I took a screenshot of the final product, but I love how it turned out. You have a distinctive Eliza style that I appreciate.

Then we started playing online games together. First it was Quickdraw with Google, which is where AI guesses the doodle based on the word you’re given. You were doing great with your drawings. Then we switched over to Gartic Phone which is like a drawing/telephone game.

We got to collaborate on some drawings and had a lot of fun. It felt like the time went by really quickly, even though I think the supervisor gave us an extra twenty minutes. We got cut off at the end so I wasn’t able to tell you that I love you or give you air hugs like I normally do, but you started a final round right after the call ended.

I wrote “Hi, I love you!” as my picture and you wrote “bye mama” and it reminded me you’ll always be my baby girl. Thank you so much for spending this time and playing games with me. I loved every minute of it. ❤
